Ever wanted to bury your head in the sand and just let the world wander by.
Husband is ill in hospital, carpet cleaner wouldn't clean and the PC took three attempts to load up.
Dare I wrap up any Christmas presents! Will the sellotape play the game or will it just stick to itself and not to the wrapping paper! I've got a pack of wrapping paper, bows and ribbon but can't see any gift tags. Will probably forget which present belongs to who. Could be an interesting experience!
Hoping tomorrow will be an improvement!!

Gandkids rule ok!
Spent a fair chunk of today with another of my favourite hobbies - my grandson. He's football mad. Took him to his training session at local kids football club where he scored three goals! Well done Kieran!!
He must have been starving after all that running around as he managed to make short work of two lots of soup and the best part of two big rolls. Not to mention ice cream sundae followed by a handful of fruit pastilles! He must have hollow legs as he's a lean machine!!
Don't want to make my granddaughter feel left out. She and I have something special to do soon!

Oops!
Not very good at this blogging lark! Keep forgetting about it. However, have been busy lately with making a dress for my granddaughter. Stupidly I forgot to take a pic of it but will try and remember to do so when I make the next one.
Also had a good day last Saturday at a calligraphy workshop. The subject was Pointed Pen Brush Lettering, something I haven't really done much of in the past. It certainly takes a bit of getting used to but is easier then using a nib. With a bit of practice I may turn out something reasonable. In which case will get the camera out and take some pics.

Cards and Calligraphy
Well, just starting out in blogging land and I already feel like I need chocolate!! I feel totally bamboozled but no doubt will get there in the end! Below is a pic of a card I made for a couple of good friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary.
Most of the elements on the card are from Craftwork Cards and the lettering is in one of my favourite scripts, Spencerian.
